At 740g Rose was probably one of the biggest does I'd ever come across, she was so huge and cuddly with big dark eyes!! She joined my ratty clan in October 2003 along with her sister Amy. Rose had a really calm, gentle nature, which was really made evident when Rose kept Maddy company during her extreme old age. Rose cared brilliantly for her elderly friend, and was very upset and withdrawn for a while after Maddy's death.

Rose had to be put to sleep in October 2005 due to a nasty facial tumour that she developed, which was sadly very inoperable and affected her quality of life very rapidly. She is now reunited with her old friend Maddy.
