Lucy-loo was my sheep rat!! She was so round and woolly with her little black nose. I was GMR-ed by Lucy at the Cardiff show in 2003, as she was part of a litter on the kitten table, and was the only one not to find a home, so I couldn't resist! I also got Meg at the same time, as she was 2 days short of 6 weeks old so hadn't been at the show. Lucy turned out to be a tough old lady, she went through 3 operations to remove lumps so far, and sailed through the first two. The third one ended up being a bigger op, as she needed to have a lymph node removed as well, and it was a bit touch and go for a while, but she pulled through, bless her! She remained very active despite her age, and got on very well with her two gentle cage mates Amy and Rose.

Sadly I lost Lucy to a pituitary tumour, which was probably a complication of her lymphatic cancer. R.I.P. Lucy-loo
